Work which included the creation of two new pitches, to be played on next season, and the creation of a enlarged floodlit training area.
Keith , who before becoming the RFU's head grounds man spent 15 years looking after Manchester United's Old Trafford pitch , was impressed by the work that had been done and has agreed to provide Eccleshall RUFC with a report which will set out a detailed proposal for future works which should ensure that Eccleshall continue to play on one of the best surfaces in the county for many years to come.
Club Chairman Tim West commented “ it ' s great to have somebody of Keiths standing to visit our pitches, they get a lot of use as we are now running 3 men's teams on a Saturday and have the ladies and over 120 juniors playing on them on a Sunday. We are keen to develop our facilities at Baden hall with the continued support of Baden Halls owners Jamie and Debbie Goucher and the input of experts like Keith we are well set to do that. "
